Shotgun Level II: “Gospel of the Guage”
Service Description
Defensive Shotgun builds on the "Gospel of the Gauge," deepening your skills in handling malfunctions, moving with a shotgun, using alternative shooting positions, and engaging multiple targets. This course is not suitable for those unsure of their shotgun handling abilities; completion of Level 1 is recommended first. Course Content: -- Recoil Mitigation -- Multiple Target Engagement -- Knowledge of buckshot pattern -- Movement (forward, backwards, lateral L-R and R-L) -- Immediate Action -- Alternative Positions -- Sling Use -- Select Slug Drill -- Bilateral Shooting -- Slug Walk back to 100 yds (25, 50, 75, 100) -- 3x3 left to right targets (3 rounds on 3 targets) Prerequisites: Students MUST successfully complete Shotgun: Level 1 - Survival Defensive Shotgun: Intro to the "Thinking Man's Gun" Equipment: • Shot Gun w/ Sling • Red Dot Optic (Recommended but not required) • Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses • Recommend electronic hearing protection or earmuffs and earplugs Ammo: • Ammo: 150 Birdshot, 25 Slugs, NO BUCKSHOT
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations or Transfers GREATER Than 14 Days Before Start Date Students canceling more than 14 days before the start date of the course will receive a FULL REFUND. Course/Event Cancellations or Transfers LESS Than 14 Days Before Start Date Students canceling less than 14 days before the start date of the course/event will receive a PARTIAL REFUND of 75% of the fee paid.
