Crisis Response Planning & Execution
PRIVATE - Charlotte County Sheriff's
Service Description
This intensive 3 to 4-day scenario-based exercise is designed to elevate the readiness of SWAT teams and tactical leadership when facing high-stakes, dynamic crises. Developed for the Charlotte County Open Enrollment, this program mirrors elite Special Operations Forces (SOF) methodologies to refine decision-making and tactical execution under extreme duress. Participants will engage in a comprehensive curriculum that transitions from structured classroom planning to high-fidelity, force-on-force scenarios in complex environments. The training focuses on sophisticated mission sets, including barricaded subjects, hostage recovery in intricate structures, and linear assaults. KEY LEARNING OBJECTIVES: PLANNING & METHODOLOGY: Master both deliberate and hasty planning cycles (MDMP/TTP). Instruction emphasizes the F3EAD (Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, Analyze, Disseminate) targeting cycle to ensure intelligence-driven operations. COMMAND & CONTROL: Integrate C6ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber-Defense, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) to maintain a seamless common operational picture. CRITICAL DECISION-MAKING: Develop Go/No-Go matrices and contingency plans for real-time adjustments during mission execution. INTEROPERABILITY: Enhance multi-echelon communication and coordination with external support units, negotiators, and multi-agency partners. PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS: To ensure safety and training efficacy, participants must demonstrate competency in basic tactical movement, weapons handling, and established team SOPs. All force-on-force components are overseen by dedicated safety officers following strict protocols. Upon completion, teams will receive a comprehensive Team After Action Report (AAR) identifying key performance trends and actionable recommendations. Participants will also be provided with electronic planning templates, C6ISR documentation, and certificates of completion. This course provides the operational rigor necessary to bridge the gap between tactical proficiency and high-level incident command, ensuring teams are prepared for the complexities of modern crisis response. NOTE: To be invoiced for this course, please select the "Pay in Person" option during registration and use the name of the individual the invoice should be addressed to as the student.
